Education Loan
Fund studies in India or abroad, with guidance on collateral, co-applicants, moratorium and government schemes.
Education loans cover tuition and related costs for courses in India and abroad. The right structure depends on the institution, the course and whether collateral is available.
What is usually covered
- Tuition and college fees
- Hostel and living costs
- Books, equipment and travel for study abroad
Repayment
Most education loans offer a moratorium during the course plus a short period after it, before EMIs start. Interest may accrue during this time.
Government schemes
Students can apply to many banks through the Vidya Lakshmi portal, and eligible students at notified institutions may access collateral-free loans under PM-Vidyalaxmi. We help you understand which applies to you.
